| Well the central theme of the story was a good one... and at times it was well done. But for me, I thought it was a pretty weak execution overall. It was let down by the frivolity that seems to be Davis' trademark... shame really. That and yet another example of a complete lack of imagination when it comes to artistic direction for sets and more specifically costumes. It may as well have been set in the present day. |
