Its all about repetition really. While I do have repetitive dreams regarding 3D work when its a heavy time, my most long-term is computer-to-computer.
Starting nearly 30 years ago, I've been a user if vi under unix and linux. While I rarely use vi now, to this day I automatically hit ESC after each sentence in
any word-processor or text editor to leave edit mode.
Luckily, just hitting ESC by itself in most apps doesn't do much when editing text - other than here of course, which wipes out what your typing - done that a few times.
