very nice, though i must ask what the light is in that pic?

it looks like it's a star behind the ship yet i'm not sure if it was behind the ship weather the light would show up on this side of the ship.

None the less i like it.

Hey thanks Dr Lee
The light..its a very big bright sun. I've made it really quick...it's not looking so good.

yeah, you really need to tone down that sun, its far to bright!! Yet the lighting used on the aft is real moody and grim like, which looks great.

Just my two cents on the picture, great job though, really makes the Galactica look old and mighty!

Are you doing the light in PS? If so I would recommend sticking it underneath the Galactic and duplicating it and putting the dupe on top. Then either lower the opacity or set it to screen or something like that so the light spills over a bit.

You could also modify the light source to be a Cylon nuke, which would be pretty bright.

Very Nice, but' it looks like the landing bay is bending up-wards toward the sun light.

the flare of the sun looks quite good, there's nothing wrong with it, but the light on galactica itself makes it look like it's sitting infront of it, backlight galactica and it'll look fine

I pity the fool!
