Engage!

Another day, another render. Here's my first serious attempt at a TNG era image. Let me know what you guys think.

The best one I could find that would import into Carrara. If you have any suggestions on where to get one, I would be more than happy to hear them.

Edit: Just found that I have another one, but all the details are textured, and there's no ship name or registry.

Ok, threw together a quick render of the other Ent-D mesh I have, with pretty much the same lighting applied. Let me know which one you think is better. Thanks!

Wow, the lightning and the angle (though it is mirrored) in the first pic totally reminds me at the scene from Generations, when the Enterprise passes by to escape from the Amargosa shockwave.
You should repeat that with Schoberth's Enterprise.

Yeah, I agree. My only beef is with the deflector dish, and the fact that the textures have no name or registrtion.

Also, I'm having trouble getting the bump maps to work correctly.

The second is much better. I agree with nightfever, it does look like that Generations scene. Nice work!

My biggest pet-peeve is people saying they have a pet-peeve.
