| SFM Obsessed | Hate those drive-by scores... Wish people would try to be more constructive in their criticism It looks pretty good to me, though the earlier WIPs promised a little more than the final image actually delivers. The damage looks pretty good where it's been added, but the clean parts look way too clean. It's almost as if time has chosen to only selectively damage the building, rather than the kind of damage and aging you would expect to see in this kind of image. The mud(?) on the floor looks odd too. Either the stone tiles are wafer thin or the dirt needs to look more like it is on top of the tiles than it currently does. I also think that the shadows should be darker in the rooms corners as there would be less daylight hitting them, so more chance of collected rain water and dirt/moss |

The dirt bothered me too, but for the life of me I couldn't think of a better way to do it without modeling a million bits of gravel. So would more actual texture work be required then?

| Hey Ozy! That looks great. I love those vines. Realy brings it all together. I would like to see that setting at a later time of day with light slanting in with maybe a flashlight in the characters hand. This looks great. Would look neat with moss too...maybe not sure. |

| First, I'm impressed just by the tools you used ![]() I think it's pretty darn good, again with respect to the range of tool. I think the debris would be more scattered as well. The stuff in the center of the scene looks like someone may have started sweeping up. Still, real nice work. |

| SFM Guru | I like it - moody! The ruins don't look ruined enough, but otherwise, I like it. |

![]() Texturing would be enough to cover some parts of the room such as adding scratches, dents, stains, moss and dirt, but you could also do some low detail modeling work to help out too. Adding a small spattering of plantlife to the floor in the sun lit area would add a little more realism. The cracks between the paving stones are prime weed territory for example, judging by most people's patios!
