hey, seeing that were posting suggestions, how about one in the livery of the world's greatest aerobatics display team....The RAF's Red Arrows *cough* national pride *cough cough*

Seriously: got the top picture as wallpaper atm. Excellent work Rayonx. looks almost real.

One thing bugs me though (yes i know these have been done, but for the next bird), maybe add a little bit more detail around the engine "nozzels" at the back. It just looks a bit too flat in my opinion. Just my two cents

I have nothing to say ... except that .. and that .. and that too ....

Thanks for the suggestions.

I'll have to find some ref for the red arrows.

I agree for the lack of details, in many places by the way. That's why i make an other one.

But thanks anyway.

Great images! Love the texturing and the lighting! Congrats on the header!!

Are you using HDR lightprobes to light the scenes?

names

Actually I recall seeing the name U.N. Spacy with no e anywhere on some scenes in robotech but not sure about the macross series.

Marcross is the original seperate show and robotech is the american version which mixed everything together to meet some stupid minimum required episode rule here in the states.

That pic looks great btw:-)

Ah robotech... I wish the games on ps2 didn't suck so bad lol.

These all look great! As much as I love the Blue Angels one, would it at all be possible to see a Thunderbirds variant?

Thanks everyone.
Great to be ont he header.

-I use only one directionnal light and the background image as an HDRI map. Plus some tunning on combustion and that's it.
-Many textures to do to make everyone happy. I'll do my best.

Right now i'm improving the model. First the wings for the AWACS version briefly seen in the movie.

Here's a render with the FAST PACK. Not a hyperrealistic one. I wanted to try something on photoshop. Enjoy

Hello fellow Macross fan!!! Your 3D renders of the VF-1 Valkerie are impressive. Looking forward to seeing more renders of the VF-1.

Question are you going to render other VF mecha in the VF series or do any renders with 3D ortho views.
I would not mind seeing these mecha rendered:

VF-9 Curtis
VF-11 Thunderbolt II
VF-17 Nightmare
VF-19 Excalibur
VF-22 Sturmvogel II
VF-5000 StarMirage

I wouldn't mind seeing these rendered as well, the VA/VB series.
VA-3 Invader
VB-6 Konig Monster
