Did you create the mesh yourself?

Yep, the nose looks pinched, but also the text says "U.N Spacey" but should surely be "U.N. Spacey" (extra '.')

Everything except the potograph is done by myself.

I'm redoing the valkyrie. This is the old one. So your right about the nose.

I've never notice the missing "." . Too late for this model.

VF stands here for the squadron designation (Vessel Fighter i think).

Here is the VF-2 "the bounty hunters" and the Blue angels.

No. It means "Variable Fighter" actually.

That's a very pretty Blue Angel design. But is a strictly. "Your world" vision.

BY that time in the Macross/Robotech time line. They would not have existed.

The world was divided by two forces, the The won world government, and the Anti-Unification army that was trying to stop the full empowerment of the One World Government. Seems to me I recall the United States was firmly in the grip of the one world government, and units like the Blue Angels would not have existed.

Too much identification with the old US sovereignty.

More macross time line:

The angel birds from the first episode "booby trap".

- VF is both for the type of machine and for the type of squadron.
VF-1A VALKYRIE
VF-1 "WOLFPACK" a navy fighter squadron.
You have also VFA (fighter attack), VA 'attack), VS (patrol-control), VAQ (electronic warfare), VAW (early warning), etc....
each for a different task. (Since were dealing with "spacy" i should ad a "S" )
The VE-1 ELINTSEEKER (Valkyrie with a big radar dish) would belong to a VAQ or a VAW.

- Squadron traditions (colors) of today are more interesting than red squadron or vermillion squadron like in the show. And since the Valkyrie was inspired by the f-14, i use tomcat squadrons colors.
Even Focker's "skull one" use colors traditions of the "jolly rogers" a navy squadron.
Plus the refs and the decals are easy to find.

I like your Valkyries in the Thunderbirds livery. Great touch. Amusingly, the Thunderbirds are the Air Force flight demonstration team -- the Navy's is the Blue Angels.

I'd love to see one in the colors of VF-114, the World Famous Fightin' Aardvarks!
