I know it's probably just reflections from the blue light below, but it looks like it's got a two-tone paintjob! I actually like that a lot. Gives it a lot more character than the standard one color deal.

Wow... very impressive!!!! I am blown away by the work. One question though... I thought the Achilles could hold something like 20 or 30 fighters, so should the scale of the fighters in the bays be smaller and more of them? Regardless outstanding work and I just wish they were really using this ship in the show.

I think when Alnair did the specs on the ship he said it would carry at least 20 fighters because the Daedalus (Apollo and such) class of ships can carry 16 fighers, 8 in each bay I think. I know that lots of people were asking him for specs and I think he said that it would carry double that of a Daedalus, because after all it is almost twice the size if I remember the size chart he did. My memory might have completely failed and I could be wrong, but I think I am remembering correctly.

She's Back?!! The Achilles?! I missed that ship. Its good to see her again. You must make a animation. One day maybe in the future could you have her released to the public maybe in 3D Max format. It would be so cool to have this ship. I've been slowly collecting the ships being released in the meshes. Kinda have to live up to my motto as building the great SFM fleet lol.

All Enemies of the Terran Alliance shall be Destroyed and lost to the pages of History.

She is definitely a beautiful ship.

I noticed that while the side pic looks great, the head-on version's hull plating keeps grabbing my attention. Maybe it's the lighting, the paint job, or both, but it reminds me more of concrete slabs than metal plating.

I could probably explain it better if I knew what I was doing (I only just purchased and started learning LW9, my first app)... Maybe someone else sees it too?
