Watch for the stinger in the tail

Here are some shots of my newest model, the M-A1 Vampire. It is an attacker loaded to the hilt with missiles and it also has a tailgun. A few of these can easily overwhelm a capital ship, and the nuclear warheads on the missiles pack a nasty punch.

I have been trying to improve my skills lately. This one has complete cocpits with pilots and glowing computer screens, etc. I tried to include some different shots so you can see everything in context of the overall ship design.

Hope you all enjoy it!

Its a nice model, its a bit too brightly lit at the moment unless its surrounded by suns on all sides, you probably want at least one side of the ship in shadow.

This is a nice, simple, feasible design. I like it. But as biotech said, its a bit too brightly lit, and it sort of takes away from the contrast of the textures. Do you have the object set for self luminescence?

Thanks for the input.

I moved the light and toned down the shadows. Lighting is complicated it seems. Here are some new shots the first two are with the new light and one is the tailgun in deep space wihere the only light source is the engines. That one looks pretty cool I think.

I also added a couple of shots of the cocpit. I didn't spend too much time modelling it but I hate incomplete models so I do some form of interior on all of my ships. Plus, they are all for an illustrated novel so I'm never sure exactly what shots I'll need for the author, so I'm trying to cover my bases in advance. I would have to add more detail on them cocpits later I'm sure if cocpit shots are needed. necessary.

Thx for the ideas guys. This site inspires my imagination and makes me want to improve my skills.
