Cinema4d Enterprise in Orbit

Hi,

havenīt posted in ages - just so much other stuff to do. Had some time over new year and finally did some new images: same old spaceship, some old beauty shots... But I like them and hope you like them too. very nearly forgot how much fun 3d can be!

Very nice, but isn't the enterprise a bit small to be the focus of the image?

Current WIPS: None 'cause I'm a lazy bastard.

You know what? I don't think so. I love how you realise just how small the Enterprise is when compared to the planet. It just looks... awesome.

Yeah, I really like this one.

Only the inside of the nacelles glow on the TMP Enterprise Refit and the Enterprise-A...

Very nice image, and I think the sizes are just right, starships don't have to fill the whole screen to be the focus of an image...

Very nice picture but indeed a bit unfortunate that the Nacelles aren't lit and perhaps the moon is just a bit too big...

I like this pic very much. The size of the ship is ok, for i guess we all know every detail of this ship so theres no need to show them again and again on each picture

They are lit, see my last post...

In TNG onwards, Miranda nacelles, identical to those fitted to the Enterprise, glow on both sides, but not in the movies (look at the nacelles of both in STII: The Wrath of Kahn), so if you look carefully, you can see a blue glow on the inside (although really, they should either be black or a purple to black gradient if not at warp)...

The Enterprise might be large enough but the picture definately isn't. What about twice the size?

It's a great simple, effective render, the enterprise could do with being a tiny bit closer to the camera (but not much) and as the Hoff said.....BIGGER render please.

By the way, don't listen to the people talking about the nacelles not being lit, they're perfect, exactly as they are in the films

Let's see some more from you.

Andrew March doesn't live here anymore, his place has been donated to the NUMPTIES!!!
