Thanks nyrath. I noticed that too and I was gonna work it around with a normal map, to make the edge look less sharp with speculars. Beveling would unnecessarily raise the polycount, we're trying to keep it down. Fortunately that intake/exhaust edge is not gonna be visible too often (the generator will be latched inside a turbine manifold).

Yes, polycount is always a problem. The important thing is that you were already aware of the problem and had a solution lined up.
