I'm trying to do a similar thing, only in the BSG universe. It's quite a slog modeling so much, particularly when you're concerned about accuracy, but certainly very rewarding when you get it right (which you definitely have in these cases). Good luck.

I daresay I'm the one who should be wishing you luck :-) Much of BSG's interiors are so detailed and intricate that they'd take forever to build. I did the Pegasus corridors once from season 2, and just one segment took forever. I dread the thought of trying to do the CiC interiors or the launch tubes.

Still, if you're brave enough, I'd love to see your progress, I'll bet your results are going to be great :-) Definitely keep us appraised!!!

It seems that you made everything, tnpir4002, but you didn't make Ten Forward and how can you make an episode whiteout it?

Simple...the tone and pacing of this episode in question just doesn't call for a scene there. It's a stretch to do one in Reyf's quarters at all. It's rather like "Pegasus" from season 7 of TNG. It just didn't seem appropriate, although I did try to find a way :-)

If you've got suggestions I'm happy to entertain it. I thought about maybe lengthening a log entry and doing a walkthrough montage like in "The Cloud," maybe that'll work.

don't push it, while ten-forward would be great, its not necessary.

I have a link to my WiP thread in my sig, and I have actually done the launch tubes. Like you say, very intricate details, but with enough references and time that's not so bad. I'm definitely no where near as skilled with lighting as you are, though. It's that that often really sells an image, I think.

Wow, some outstanding work there, tnpir! I especially like those bridges, although I myself prefer them unpopulated. And is there any chance of you reposting those above exterior shots of the ISS Voyager (and possibly some new ones, maybe even orthos) with brighter lighting?

Anyway, this is incredible work, dude!

orthos? What are those? (sorry I'm still kinda new on the scene...so still learning :-))

The lighting in those particular shots is deliberately dark to make that ship look more threatening but I can definitely lighten them up for you.
