oooh!
I wasn't a fan of that storyline, loved the ABC Warriors though (since there's a connection), but i'ts cool seeing more 2000AD stuff as opposed to Trek/SW.

n animated chase through the Termight tubes would be cool?

Definitely one of the better entries mate. Wish I had spotted this one as I would have taken part, and looking at the textures on a lot of the entries I think I would have had a chance of winning for once! Damn!

Cheers guys. Wasnt realy entering to win, if I was Id have chosen something that Non Brits under the age of 30 might recognise . Im planning on doing Slaine and Nemesis soon so this fitted nicely with my plans.

Once Ive got Nemesis done I will do a little tunnel anim I think, but wont be for a few months yet im afraid.

Yeah Im a big fan of ABC Warriors, specially the Bisley and Walker stuff but theyve been done to death in 3D, that said if a Robot competition crops up Ill prob do one for that. Most likely Joe Pineapples or maybe Mongol - he smushes! dont ya know?

A quick question - you see the lack of glow around the upper part of the engine thrust effect? I think this is due to the planes used to create the smoke effects, but Ive had no joy correcting the problem. Any ideas? Ive tried the glow behine option with no effect.
Im using 3D Max vs 8.

Max doesn't really do glow behind an alpha map out-of-the-box, which is one of it's most annoying limitations. The usual way to get around it without using plugins or a different renderer (MentalRay or V-Ray for example) is to render a pass without the alpha mapped plane, render the alpha mapped plane separately with an alpha channel tga to create a mask and then composite the two images together... Painful

Cheers Spudmonkey, I'll certainly do one of the above next time I use an A-plane. On the plus side I can think of one or two uses for this glitch which might come in handy now Im upto speed.
