I would suggest a different font. The current one draws my simple eye away from the scene before looking at the Battlestar.

The lighting doesn't look right, you have light hitting the front of the ship but the sun is in the back and you might want to kick up the ambient light a bit, it's a little to dark. Other than that, I like it.
