Colony Wars 2211. Alright Ya'll, this is one that I'm working on, and have been working on for the past few years. (Like all of my other stuff, .) It's called Colony Wars 2211, and in fact is somewhat similar to the late 90's game series that bares a similar title. (Only, just, similar.) In any case, I'm still working on it, but since my internet is down, (damned thunder storm, ); I thought I'd just go ahead and post what I have, while I'm at a nieghbor/friend's house. Tell me what you think,

Yeah, I liked it too. But to be honest, tne second game in the series was not nearly as good, but it had it's own coolness once you got into it. But the one that I thought was a total rip-off, was one by the same developers (I believe), called Blast Radius. It was pretty cool when you had nothing else to do, but it wasn't anything to go crazy over. I've also been thinking of changing the name of mine, as I plan on making it into a game as well, Pic update...

I must say that, while I DO like the fighter, I have some issues with the images. 1) Neither engine flare really impresses me. I like the second one far more than the first, but I think that it would work better toned down a bit, esp. on the brightness. 2) Compositing - feels a bit, well, static. Swing the camera around (anti-clockwise if you're circling around the fighter ... i.e. - towards the bow) and give it a bit more angle from above. Maybe a bit (JUST A BIT) of motion blur? 3) Sun-flare. Just as with the engines, the sun in your images is a bit too much. It might look that way in reality (or not), but it's definitely overpowering the image. Other than that ... keep up the good work. It's not like I can model, after all!

| Hello Sanderlee, and thank you for the feedback. It means a lot to me as I further develop my skills, Quote:
Really? I didn't think so, the excessive brightness, in the second flare, is to indicate full burn. (???) That's understandable, however the first flares aren't really flares, simply burn off from the particals in the nebulae. Quote:

Waaaaay too much motion blur. It doesn't do your fighters justice to smear them all over the image this way. I'd say tone the motion blur down to about 20% of its current setting and try again. That might feel a bit too slow at first glance ... but it'll make the image better. You can always up the blur on the terrain without upping it on the fighters.
