Go Sleipnir!

This is a wonderful mesh. Lots of detail. I know it's a little dark but I kind of like them that way. The next image will be brighter. Thanks tan.j for all of the great battlestars!

The details on the middle part of the hull look really bad in this render. Try playing with your anti-aliasing settings to retain more of the detail than is showing in the image. Other than that it's not too bad, if a little dull

nice image but I agree that you need to set AA up, I set mine to classic extreme medium. I know this mesh takes awhile to render because of the volumetric lighting but it is worth it. I played with it last night.

I just finished setting up my new pc and installed Lightvave so I will be making a new render with this mesh tomorrow.

Only if you're using LW pre-9.0

Otherwise, Except Design LightWave AntiAliasing Tutorial

I like this ship. Reminds me of a turtle especially with the plating.

Hey Lonewriter----what frame rendering are you using? If I run it for 1-60 frames it takes 10-20 hours to complete a picture depending on how the AA set.

No, read your manual, frames 1-60 (and yes you can increase that number) are for animations, if you want a single image you need to specify which frame you want to render!
