Very nice. a few comments, the tie are missing their engine glow. and with such a bright blue nebula, as Rick pointed out, it should cast a blue hue on the ships.

Thanks everybody for your comments. Tried to make some nice engine glow for the TIEs but it just didnt looked good. You're absolutly right with the blue hue. I liked it so much that I didnt even considered it though I usually add a hue depending on the backgroundedit: Maybe someone could help me... Does one of you know how to activate or make the lights for the windows in fractalsponges ISD? Because there's no entry in the Light Lister for them. I'm using Max 9

The windows aren't lights - I put a self-illuminating FR material on them, so that didn't make it into the release version. The object layer for the windows should still be there in the file though, most of them should be named "lights_..." if I remember correctly; it's been a while. Nice composition for the pic - I agree with the other comments about the blue hue from the nebula though. Jim Bassett's TIE is still pretty good for its age, eh? I do TIE flares with a small red volume light - just adjust the attenuation range to get the size of the effect you want.

Um, those rear hexagons are not actually the engines. The gray tubes at the sides of the eyeball are: http://fractalsponge.net/tie/gallery/35.jpg

Hey man glad you did. This rocks. Do you by chance have a Victory Class model ? Nice to see an Interdictor- a few Victories in the background would make this pop! Travis
