Maya Garretson Class Recon Scout with Deckplans...

This is a recon scoutship I designed in Maya, rendered in vector, and then built 2d deckplans from cross-section slices.

Ultra-high res / printable versions are here:

SHA-1 Checksum: a840e3e46faca618391dc61e6fb420907bb97e0b

It was fun to layout all the internals, components, and crew areas... and I remembered to put a bathroom onboard!! LOL.

New Setup: Mac Pro 3.2 GHz 8-core (25.6 GHz), 16 GB RAM, Mac OS X Leopard 10.5.3, Maya + Pixar's RenderMan, 2560x1600 30" Samsung Monitor = Heaven. Is it worth it? Yes; it's actually cheaper than an equivalently-configured Dell.... swchweet.

fantastic, but I would say use a normal font for the titles within the plans, as the font for zaon and stuff it's fine, but I'd stick with something plain for the other titles

I pity the fool!

As a lover of blueprint shots and original art, that's freakin' outstanding. Kudoes to you! Is the background data for this in service to a larger project, book, game, script, etc?

The detail? or the overall simplistic shape?

New Setup: Mac Pro 3.2 GHz 8-core (25.6 GHz), 16 GB RAM, Mac OS X Leopard 10.5.3, Maya + Pixar's RenderMan, 2560x1600 30" Samsung Monitor = Heaven. Is it worth it? Yes; it's actually cheaper than an equivalently-configured Dell.... swchweet.
