The Dominion: Poor Losers

I did this for a contest over at Trek BBS. The theme was to create something having to do with time travel. I decided to show what might happen if the Dominion decided to attack the Federation again, but this time not in their present or future...but in the past. And of course, the Enterprise is in on the action.

I used the game Bridge Commander for the renders. I basically took screen grabs of the ships in-game and then composited it all together in Photoshop.

hm, interesting idea...
I do, however doubt that the Federation of this timeframe stands a chance against the Dominion.

Yeah, hence the fact that in the picture, the fed's are getting their butts kicked!

not bad for a screengrab in a game and photoshop, I may have to try this very scene in Lightwave.

Exactly

The idea is that the TOS era Federation is no match for the Dominion..which is why they chose that time to go back.

If only the Defiant can follow them back in time and stop them before it's too late...

It's really good, I wouldn't have known it was a modified screen capture without being told. It makes me want to install Bridge Commander.

My slightly improved and famous Enterprise Reference Pack. - 2/6/08

well if anything the dominion is going to find out that the feds probably have more ships are more militerisic, can adapt to different situations and more importantly, in this era the TOS era Fed ships don't really go pop when hit like they do in the TNG era. so Fed ships might last longer..

Numbers can only take you so far, Think of the Tech gap between shields and weapons systems. TOS era phasers and torps are going to have a serious effect on DOM ships, and vise versa. How OP are DOM weapons going to be agaist TOS era shields. anyways despite the techbable the pic is coool, makes for a good What if short story.

Haha! Awesome shot. Very nice photoshop work. And the best part: Those are my ships! I made those models for my Bridge Commander mod, the TOS Canon Mod Pack, or TCMP. I'm very pleased to see them used for artistic purposes!

Shameless ad* placement--Get it here: TOS Canon Mod Pack (TCMP), Bridge Commander Downloads, Bridge Commander TOS Vessels

*Not really an ad. The mod is free to download

Thanks for giving proper credits, by the way!
