| SFM Nugget | Shelby GT-500 Transformer X tT-Rex Hi guys, this post is a version 2.0 of the image posted here: http://www.scifi-meshes.com/forums/3...st-x-mech.html I tried to fix most of the points taken here and at the other forums to improve the image and i quite like the new result. The most noticeably thing is the repositioning of characters to give the scene more balance and action, and the fact that i considered the "exercise of organic modelling without z-brush" finished and put the t-rex back to zbrush to redo the maps, so it´s almost a new model now. Hope you like it. |

| i remember that one ! much much better ! so heres a couple of points ![]() the shiny metal of the robot seems a bit branding new... the point of view would be more dynamic if placed on the ground, looking up the pose of the bot seems still a bit straight (the belly-shoulder part. could benefit a bit of inclinaison) good work |

| Nice, I would agree about the camera positioning though. When setting up a scene I find it far too easy to place the camera to show off all the hard work and detail I've put into the models, rather than positioning the camera for best dramatic effect. |

Blog Entries: 2 | I like it, the T rex looks like its dead already though, I would expect it to be struggling more if it was in a fight to the death, rather than its powerful back legs just hanging their limp, they should be clawing at the robot. |

| SFM Nugget | Wiz: I use the old pixar way, a covering glass like surface and then the inner area with a slight self ilumination to give a "cat's eye" look. At this specific case i modelled the iris so it can be animated and you can see inside it. Mr. Wilde: Manually. I did distort the vertexes there. Works for stills, obvisouly would not work for any animations. |

| Only crit I have is scaling... I know that in the modern transformers movie, they had 100 foot tall robots coming out of a little two door car, but they also didn't carry too much of the body over into the robot form. From the looks of your transformer, it looks as if when it turns back into the Shelby, it'll be a huge car the size of a T-Rex. |
