It's there, where it's always been. Trust me i wouldn't move it or the crew wouldn't be able to find it in the dark. Thats important in space.

Steve that is sweet. Yeah noticed the gear down...did you ever get that and the boarding ramp detail finalized? Love the new turret detailing.

it did sound like my comp was taking off while it rendered that image. Active cooling taking the fans up faster than they've ever gone before. It was actually making the floor vibrate.

Creating animations with this is possible, but they take a long time if you want nice things like motion blur. It's so detailed it needs higher than usual sampling, so settings that worked just fine to make a smooth looking animation with the foxhound that i posted a few months ago are too low for the Akula. I left a test going overnight with the foxhound settings and it managed 25 frames, which when i saw them in sequence were unusable.

Travis, no i basically left it how it was... no time to work on that at the moment. i might dig out a better texture for it so it looks superficially like an actual interior.
