Sounds almost like it was a combination of trial and error to get that effect... Very nice, creative, and original work. Also nice to see your Akulas in action again.

Excellent work, reminds me a bit of the BBC Voyage of the Planets, when they have aurora around their ship too in vicinity of the gasgiants.

That picture is very nice, the details are evident and interesting. Not sure I would have used the same light setup, it looks a bit washed out, almost like a postcard that you've scanned, it does give it an authentic 'printed' feel though.

So when are the Russians and everyone else going to have their stand-off? If memory serves you do have warships and fighters in both camps no?

Do it well or not at all.
