 |  The Karakan This render shows the karakan reaching the Mars orbital. Set in post modern day technology it is likeley that we will acheive this in the next 100 years. The karakan is a general purpose deep space ship, its roles range from transporting astronaughts throughout the solar system to deep space exploration. This is probably my longest standing personal project that i started in 1999, spending a few hours on it here and there has made it over 85,000 polys which in todays day and age is not much. I have put a lot of detail all around the ship but after 7 different renders of it, i still cant do it justice. I will be animating the ship to show off its detail. Keep checking this thread as I will put a link here to the animation in the next few days. |

| It seems to be lit so that the side facing the camera is in darkness, which isn't great for showing off the model. Perhaps a better lit shot would do more justice to the work you've put into building her? |
