Harry Turtledove scifi enough? ![]() ![]() Confederate and US tanks. I had to add the 3dGunpoint tagline because I used and modified a lot of the models from that site. I have lots more WIP pictures.

I know of that writer but I've never read his stuff personally. Didn't he do the series where aliens show up right in the middle of WW2 and axis and allies have to join forces? I remember another series of books where some dudes go back in time and give the confederate soldiers AK-47s, which I'm sure ended will for the union

Harry Turtledove is a talented author. Some of his work is out there, like the aliens arriving during the middle of WWII. But his alternate history does provide the reader a spark of "what if." The first book of his I read was "Guns of the South," the one with General Lee holding an AK-47 on the cover, but didn't read anything else of his until years later in Kuwait when I picked up parts of his World at War series, where the aliens interrupt WWII. Been pretty much reading more and more of his works.
