CGSociety Adopts Game-Artist.net

Following some months of working closely with www.Game-Artist.net CGSociety has taken over the management of the site and will work in collaboration with the founder and the Forum Leaders to continue to grow it into a leading forum for Game Artists.

We have been looking at ways to work more closely with the Game Artist community for a while now but wanted to do it in a way that didn’t mess too much with the existing CGSociety forum structure because it works so well. When we heard that Game-Artist.net had grown to a point where it needed some extra resources and a new home the timing couldn’t have been better.

Game-Artist.net is a fresh, young and growing community that we feel will benefit and develop further with the support of CGS. The adoption of the forum will offer CGS Members and CGTalkers new opportunities, contacts and dialog in the Game Art area. The two forums will remain on independent domains and run in parallel but will share many of the CGS resources.
