DC_SIGGRAPH meetings - July 10 AND July 15

Mark your calendars for 2 (two) meetings in July!!!

On Thursday, July 10 we are going on a "field trip" to Boston University's Center for Digital Imaging Arts (CDIA) in Washington, DC.
( http://www.cdiabu.com/overview/washington-campus.php ) We will hear a little about CDIA, their DC campus, and the programs they offer (including their 3D Animation Certificate). We'll discuss the possibility of creating hands-on seminars for DC_SIGGRAPH members and perhaps even see some of their students' awesome animation work! More information will follow before the meeting but mark you calendars now for this event!

On Tuesday, July 15 we are meeting at BAE Systems (8201 Greensboro Drive) to receive an Adobe 3D demo. We will see how Adobe is integrating 3D into its products. If you haven't seen the 3D capabilities in Photoshop and AfterEffects then join us for this eye-opening demo! More information to follow soon.
