looking for help on making a Warm hole. space warp - Scifi-Meshes.com

I'm just trying to Find out if some body knows how to make a really good warm hole jump gate thing... lol Ive tried some of the tutorials but they look'd alil cheesy. so any help please thanks alot

make animated noise and a funnal... pretty simple really

Dig a hole and light a fire in it. Presto.. warm hole.
Seriously though, for a wormhole effect you could always have several cylinders, and texture them with semi-opaque blueish cloudy patterns, then make them rotate (for a star wars style hyperspace mottling thing, anyway). Whether or not the end result looks cheezy mostly depends on your skill - you need to make good textures and light and animate the scene properly.
