Max How to do glow in this case ??

I tried every thing but I did not make it work.

I use 3D Studio MAX and I tried some tutorial I find but I always give just the first glow as you can see on the attachment.

The first lamp glass has the same material as I applied on the folowing 3 lamp glasses. Same ID, same Lens Effect,...

The 4º lamp glass has another material with his own Lens Effect but I didn't get too the glow...

I'm missing something for good.

Any help will be welcome in this one..
Thanks..

Assign a different channel to a material which will be the glow material. Apply the material to everything that you want to glow. Then in the glow settings (video post or effects tab) set the glow effect to work on the ID that you set for the material. All objects/faces with the material applied will now glow

Um, which bits are supposed to be glowing, and what kind of a glow are you looking for?

[edit] Or just do what spud said.

Also please TURN ON SHADOWS

Anyway as already said you can assign meterial IDs and object IDs on glows. But ive not used the max glow effects for a long time... I do it all in after effects now.

Also be aware if theres a transparant object in front of the object you want to glow. Max wont apply the glow.

Max The clue !!!

spudmonkey give me the clue...

If what I did is actually correct something else is the problem...

And I remember one thing. If I export the object as .3DS and open it on POSER, Instance copies disappear.

Well, I made the lamps as Instance copies. And I'm changing, now, all Instances copies by normal copies for this reason but I didn't, until now, render with them using Effects. The instance is not working well.

AFTER I did everything go as expected..

Thanks everyone, it was just a bug on 3D Studio MAX 2008.
