| SFM Obsessed | That's probably not going to help in this case as you can see that the edges are badly defined on one half of the mesh so symmetry would simply mirror the bad edges on the other side if it was being used. The way to fix this is to tidy up the underlying mesh edges, most likely through cuts/slices and vert welds. |

| SFM Obsessed | Perhaps to clarify, this is a very rough before and after, showing roughly where the edges and verts are now and then roughly where they should be to maintain the integrity of the structure. This will give you a much better surface to work with, both in terms of the smoothness of the faces and in terms of future editing and detailing. |
