I've searched, but I dont see any info for the Open fx 3d program. I was just wondering if anyone uses it, it doesn't seem to get mentioned anywhere here. I have used Blender, but openfx seems easier.later everyone

Ask yourself this: what does a API for moving imagery visual effects have to do with SciFi 3D Q&A?

I'm not trying to be mean here, but what kind of answer were you expecting on a forum that is dedicated to a completely different topic than FX plugin programming?

OpenFX

It's a (very old) 3d modeling app as well as the name of an fx plugin. No need to be snotty at someone for asking a question just because you don't know something I doubt anyone really uses it here, but it's possible. The forum for it is dead now though, which probably means it has been superceded by other free apps

Titan80, my apologies, I have been characterized as being rude to you even though that was not my intent (and was stated as such in the post).

My question could have been phrased much better, but it served to enlighten me none the less. I had only heard of OpenFX in reference to programming effects plugins and was wondering what the link was to 3D specifically.
