I added the noise controller to my camera and adjusted the "ramp in and out" and it still didn't change anything...the shake fills all 220 frames of the animation and i just need it for a 27 frame fly by. Also this was done using the animation/position/noise route as well as using the motion tab in max. Still the same undesirable shake throughout. |

It gives you sort of the impression of a handheld camera, but not quite. Putting in noise won't achieve that. Play with zooming in and then panning, and then overshooting the panning motions a lot... |

I tried setting keys for the 22 frames that it will need to be applied for, as weel as following the basic tuts. But as I said it appliees the shake to the intire timeline and ramping for somereason only lowers it across the same timeline. Can't seem to get the ramp in/out to work on the said frames only. |

Seems that all the threads on how to do this all have the same dilema. I know I can just do this in After Effects, but I want to get it in the render shot so the guys doing post have 1 less thing to do. Also...it my shot...so I want the shake to be something that came from my vision. ![]() |

Make sure you apply this to the camera target, not the camera itself - it leads to more natural motion. And before you ask - you can apply multiple transforms using a position or rotation list. |
