| ![]() Here you can see.. I have a transparent material. When I select a poly it turns them red, 100% opacity. And then you can see I can't see my image planes behind it then. This is extremely annoying.. It makes it impossible to trace over and stuff. I want my sub selection to be translucent.. The only thing that works is checking "wire" on the material editor. This makes edges red.. but i HATE looking at my model in wireframe. -I'm using max2009. -Lower opacity on material obviously doesn't work. Subselection is still 100% opaque. -alt+x / object properties > see-through doesn't work. Subselection is still 100% opaque. -I've spent many hours the past two days trying to google it.. I've asked professional artists working on games using 3dsmax and they don't know either. :/ -Customize UI>Colors>Geometry>Subselection will only changed the color only not the transparency. -Driver is Direct3D 9.0 I fixed this problem before I THINK, before i reinstalled windows. A friend of mine that uses max has the subselection transparent, but doesn't know how. This is annoying me so much. ( Thanks in advance to anyone that helps! |
