| I went to do a warp effect around a sphere and for some reason it won't let me wrap the text around enough, I'm using a tutorial on youtube here: YouTube - Blender tutorial . When he does it he moves the courser up and down to wrap the text one way or another (one direction wraps the text backwards). When I do it however, I have to move the mouse left and right to wrap the text, the trouble is, when I move my mouse to the right side of the screen it wraps the text all the way around backwards, when I move it to the left it can't go far enough to wrap around with the text the correct way. The screen shots attached may help a little. How can I move the mouse far enough to wrap the text around the right way, or access the warp effect manually to choose how far I want it warped in the right direction. |

| SFM Guru | There is a wrap effect for text, is this what you are using? if so you can use the little buttons to adjust all sorts of things from spacing to thickness, etc. you have to work with this in the text mode before you convert it to a mesh. As for how do you solve your mouse/cursor problem, try moving the cursor to the furthest point away from the side of the screen you wish to move toward and then do your motions. Of course many of the mouse motions can be controlled by using keyboard shortcuts and therby giving the mouse greater freedom of movement. But the best advice I can ever give is to read the online manual, it generally answers most questions and presents the best solution. |
