Boned man questions

As i have barely any knowledge of how the boning system works in 3D Max i picked up a free mesh a while back of a man with the boning system already set out....

And I hit a few problems from the start. Firstly it's on a completely different scale to EVERYTHING else i have created and i haven't the knowledge how to re-scale him while keeping the boning systems intact.

Secondly how do i get multiple copies of the single file into any of my other files and keep the boning system intact?

I'm using 3D Max 9 if that helps.

Thank you in advance for any assistance

Does the model have a skin or physique modifier applied to it? If not then you can simply select everything, resize, clone or whatever. Once you are happy with the size you may need to apply either of the listed mods to reattach the bones correctly to the model. I would recommend skin as it's a lot easier than physique

There is a Physique modifier attached to the mesh...

So i just delete that, resize him then reattach?

Yep, though again I would strongly recommend using Skin instead of Physique!
