Downloads: 4 Uploads: 0 | Image Program Hi people im new, i was thinking what is the best image editing/making program, im using photoshop, but im finding it hard to make images with, so can anyone help me by telling me what is the better program to use. Thanks |

Downloads: 0 Uploads: 0 | Photoshop is the main one of the industry, so if you are thinking of doing a graphics-based role then it's worth sticking with. However, Paint Shop Pro is a very good budget application though older versions are much better than the latest versions in my opinion. Free apps like Paint.Net and GIMP are also powerful and popular. Personally I love ArtRage right now as it gives you real world style paints, pens and so on. You should probably consider getting a graphics tablet to make the best out of any 2d app that supports pressure sensitivity. Otherwise, pencils and paper are the cheapest option, though I miss the ability to undo ![]() |

| Worldwide Phenomenon | Um... No software is going to make pretty images, if you don't take the time to learn it first. If you already have PS, I'd say stick with that... and possibly try traditional painting/drawing as well. If you must swap, you could look into Gimp, paint.net, artrage, paintshop pro, painter, pixelmator and a number of other programs, but the only thing I can really recommend is lots and lots of practice.
