Now that you mention it that is true but I guess I could always say that it is something in the alloy that makes up the hull of the ship that is making it darker. That’s the good thing about basing a ship 7-10 year in the future of a show.

I've been looking at the orthos views of your ship and noticed that some of the heavy rail guns (the ones near the missile launch tubes) don't stand out as they should. They look more 2 dimensional.

Those engines look mutha trukkin powerful! Those blue glowing things look a bit like the Asgard neutrino ion generators they have in that replicator episode.

Where are the F-302 bays and what is the function of such a large aft section?

Hello and thank you. The blue things are going to be part of its shield systems enhanced by Asgard technology. The fighter bay on this ship is on it’s underside towards the center of the ship. I'm going to be making some fighters for her once I'm done working the other ships I'm making to go with her. As for the aft area it house it hyperspace generator and ships reactor which is quite large to power all the exotics weapon systems the ship has installed.

Cool! Maybe you could put a few hatches for venting various reactors (i'm guessing it has more than one) incase bits go wrong and need jettisoning like the warp core ejection system for voyager or when prometheus ejects the naquadria hyperdrive in momento

i like this ship enough that id like to ask permission to print out the final renders for my StarGate Handy Reference Photo book.


my only concern is that because the lighting sources in the pics are so dark, that they might not come out too well, if you could post versions with better lighting, that would help alot.

i started this project as a way to both keep trak of different designs and as a way of settling the occasional ship design arguement.

helps to have cold hard proof, lol

any way, it would be cool if you would give your blessing and help on this.
