Post WIP Battlestar Cerberus

First of all Hi everyone, I've been a member here for a couple of months now and I love the forums here.

Now this is the first time I've done something this detailed so bare with me, I usually do game mod (modeling) so my models are usually of the low poly variaty. The first image is where I'm at right now, the other two are of the flight pod. Since this is my first high poly model feel free to give me some pointers.

Looks like a good start Infinity. Is it possible to see what it will look like when finished, or is it being modeled on the fly?..

I started with a design I had for a mod of mine, but most of that has flown out the window already. So Its more of trial and error on what looks good and what dosnt.

Very nice... Kinda reminds me of the Battlestar Valkyrie that we saw in last weeks BSG episode "Hero". Keep up the great work and I look forward to updates.

Working on the front of the ship, trying for a rattlesnake like head. (wide and flat) By the way any ideas on which way I should go for the back of the ship, more like Galactica or Pegasus? or maybe something differnt, I'm open to idea's.

I'd say closer to Pegasus in the boxiness of it for the back.

Perhaps you should use a bit more of a sci-fi geared font for the ship name. As it is now, it looks like the Battlestar Microsoft...

Very nice start other than that

LOL, I like that...

But yeh, like I said its my first model that I've used the text option in 3dsmax so I just used the default font. So changing it should be easy enough, so the consenus is a symetrical engine layout similar to Peg. and Val.
