Ozylot: Thanks mate
Elowan: 1:The Med Bay will most likely be standard "room" parts with "medical" doohickies to add as you like. 2: Astro Lab, what do you mean by that, a laboratory, a zero-g laboratory or that star-map thingy in Star Trek, an astrogation type thing? 3: The Ammo bays will be made 4: Still sketching a few designs in my skull for hangars and shuttle bays.

Efritsch: Engineering section will most likely be the standard "armoured" pack with machinery "parts"... Hmm maybe I should pack them like that.... As for your tip, good idea, probably Quake 4 will have a few ideas as well.

Pleiades: Good idea mate. I could use a saving on polies for some sections, their current amount is too high for a "part".

And thanks for your patience here is an update, a cargo bay "template" for smaller cargo ships including a "tractor trolley" to tractor in goods.

Thanks guys, if I can help you at any time Dave don't be a stranger, provided we're using the same programs I can help, if not I can probably guide you to someone who can.

LR: What're you up to lately???

Now for the update, it's not really an update but a display of functionality in designing ship interiors.

Here is a Gothican Gunship i've been cooking up. It even appears breifly in my short story HERE

Now the next part was easy, put together my pieces.
Unfortunately i'll have to make a customised shape for the bridge of this ship.

Now for the internal, I decided it's long range and has 4 crew. This needs two cabins and at least one bathroom. It also needed a method of getting in and out as the hull is totally sealed and has no windows. Teleporter. It also needs and engine room, now I provided everything except the bridge, unfortunately they aren't detailed just basic parts, with some modification to fit the hull properly.

and i'm proud of this render.

As you can see much use, unfortunately neither the interior or exterior are very detailed, but seeing as this is a functionality display not a pretty light show i'll let that slide

Love that half see through render. I can't wait for you to finish these and *hopefully* release them for the rest of us to abuse.

Thanks Ozy, like your set it's quick, took me about 2 minutes.

efritsch: Thanks mate, i'm definately going to release these for public abuse.

LR: Thanks mate, I was quite happy with the effect.

More updates later, i'm hunting some references.
