The window section? You mean the bridge window or are you seeing windows somewhere where there aren't supposed to be any?

Don't worry though. The bridge is just a place-holder at the moment, it'll get streamlined once I feel like doing some good old fashioned point pulling again.

That's an awesome design it really looks like it's made of parts not objects if that makes sense, very cool. How the hell did you model it?

It's easy.

A couple of tubes (I think everything apart from the turret spheres started off as a tube or a cylinder), pulling a few points for blocky general shapes, lots and lots of slicing for smoothing out the general shapes and nice clean even loops, regular poly editing tools (extrude, bevel, inset and so on) and a bit of cloning for the structure on top of the general shape.

As far as parts rather than objects goes, it's deceptively simple. Overlapping and bulk.
