Cheers LR, i'm going to need it. Now: UPDATE!!!

Added "Hillbilly Armour" to the Fluffy (real name Alexandia, the goverment gave it the code name "Fluffy" ).

This armour is random sheets of metal the rebels stuck on to protect the ship better just like Hillbilly Armour does in real life. This will also be shedded as the Illustrious pounds the evil old girl back to kingdom come (come on, it'll look COOL! )

Its a real mixture of cargo conatiner walls and armour stripped off old warships, so...er...i am looking for a lot of textures, if any of the members on here are willing to donate a few they might have i'd be really grateful (already starting a "special thanks" credit list for the end of this flick )

Thanks all, the modeling deadline on this poroject is the end of the month, so not that long till i down the cutting tool and try to texture and light both of these....

Okay anyway, last few jobs before she can be t******* was to fill in some of the large, detail less areas, like this bit near the front....(pic1)

I decided upon more sheilding would be great, like maybe a sunshade spead across some poles, but instead of fabric, maybe more beat up armour or even solar panels/sails (there tougher than they look). Oh, and more gunz ...just cause (pic 2)

Oh, and pic 3 and pic 4 are just the orginal (created waaayyy back on Valentines Day) side by side.

Could you all do me a favour, when i say "im going to build two ships at once" please, PLEASE shot me!!!

Theres some planning involved. the Illustrious i had preatty much planeed out in my head anyway, but the Fluffy (or Alexandria) started from a few sketches i did (of ships that look completly different from the finished project), finally hitting on a basic shape that i liked and thought would work well

After the basic model it was preatty made up as i went along. And BOY was it difficult Next time i think i'll plan it all out properly!!
