I watched a sci-fi spoof of Star wars and others the other day called Spaceballs, the starship that flew past in the first scene for 3 minutes was BIG, and very nicely detailed for what was a low budget movie. Hell funny though, i assume it was taking the piss from the first scene in Starwars when Vaders Star destroyer flew overhead. it just kept coming. haha.

LOTR in Space, but with no good guys and no cheesy ending.

ship is coming along great. the little guy helps alot. BTW NuBSG has its CC in the center, a bridge doesnt always have to be where they control everything.

Thanks for the support guys. And Dallidas: my bad, i'll put something there when i detail that section

Nothing to show. After working on the main section, everything after seems tiny in comparision .

Oh, and 651 views and still only the second page!!! I think i need a design change to stir up some more interest

Warp Factor 5 Mr. Sulu

(kidding. Regular service will commence soon. )

i think the warp nacelles (or big engine things if ur going for original) make the ship look more appealing. im not really a trek fanboy but it does look cooler.

Looks good Choo, but adding those nacelles, should get a few people along.

Humm maybe I need to that for my Original Freak design thread.

You know... it doesn't look half bad with the nacelles... and I'm not what you'd call an "avid" Star Trek fan.

I really like the design even without 'em.

Hey! That wouldn't happen to be a gravity ring like Serenity's, now would it?

The design lends itself to a number of different 'verses like Firefly or Star Trek, Wing Commander movie, even Star Wars and Babylon5. Versitile is the word I was looking for.

Will it have a fighter compliment? Just asking because where the guns down the front centre are would be ideal for launch tubes. In place of every other gun placement, kinda thing. Wouldn't need a large squadron, just enough for exploration and such.
