blender "Star Trek" Season 1 opening titles

Well it's not a Battlestar or anything but here is something I've been working on for a few days now. Everything is pretty well complete except for the ship itself. Right now it's just a low-poly stand-in that I used while sorting out the motion. Now that that is complete it's time to render the proper ship...

Real nice job 4MM it's spot on to the classic. Can't wait to see you're finished Connie in the scene.

Not bad. Although when I read enterprise in the thread title i thought you were talking about the most recent ST show, enterprise.

2d art is treated as a bastard child in 3D forums.
There are cultures on this planet that are just plain not ready for advanced technologies like explosives and automatic guns

No, not Quicktime. Depending on the version you choose you'll need either DivX or Xvid codec.

I'm rendering the first flyby now with the actual ship mesh. The lighting is not what I'll go with in final production but what can I say I'm impatient. It's also using the Kongo textures which also will need to be fixed.

very nice, the movement is spot on and I love the planet!

A 4MM no-prize if anyone can see the dark secret hidden on the planet.

And here's a sneak peek at an image at the end of the first flyby. It's a start and I'll be tweaking from here.
