My little bunch of WIPs

Okay, this will be my very own "bunch of WIPs" thread. Over the last weeks I started some new ships, but I've to admit that I lack the talent to finish those. Let's hope you guys can give me a kick in my lazy butt from time to time or some inspiration, so I will finish some of them.

UPDATE 2008/09/04: Added some new pictures of my Phase II constitution class starship on page 6!!

Great progress, pal!. I really hope you´ll finish it since "The Jefferies" might become your masterpiece so far.
Do you have any special plans for the rings? any glowing parts? Will the hull color be closer to TOS-style or ENT-style?
There´s quite a few old-style fans around here (many of them are long-time members) so I´m sure this project will be appreciated.

Somebody blow something up, I'm in a really bad mood. Thanks in advance.
Current project: Star Trek - Odyssey

Supurb modeling, and a great looking ship, one slight nip pick, it's Matt Jefferies not Walter Jefferies.

WIP No.2:

All right, here's WIP no.2:

As a result of the skaling shot of the last picture of WIP no.1, I startet to cut out some more details on the DY-100, which is based on an old sketch of "Theelnombre":

bot_bay_image-1.jpg

Unfortunalty there are no pictures of the steps in between, so here's an ortho shot:

And last but not least, I added the solar panels:

Nice. And thanks to the modular designs you´re able to create severa variants for different occasions.

WIP No.3

And here's my WIP no.3:

It's basicly a daedalus-class variation, but instead of a sphere I made her some sort of saucer:

Here are the first steps:

Since then I mostly used parts of my ENT-era Daedalus, but the I started creating new parts for the model:

And one just for fun:
