A new Defiant class

Hello all i am very new to Makeing Startrek Mesh even tho i do have alot of them downloaded.

I never really tryed to make my own but i had a idea on what a defiant class ship would look
like if i took parts of the Uss Seeker done by D.Bates - aka "EBOLII" USS Hornet by
Cyrille 'Tachy' Lefevre and the USS Defiant done by Ed Giddings and Dek. Now that i have the credits out the way

I know the mesh does not look very good do to textures and other issues.
So dont bash me to much on it but i wanted to give a ruff idea on what
i was talking about. If anyone has any idea to make the ship look better by all means
tell me but like i said i dont know alot about 3d Max 8 yet to do alot just some basic stuff
well anyway have fun with it.

First of all, before you get jumped on by everyone else, mesh credits should be on the image itself.

As for the ships as it stands, it'd be easier to make comments if we could see the whole thing, maybe render out a few different angles

Looks interesting though.

it's good for a first try, even with the texture problems you mentioned it looks like you've got a good shape. My only suggestion would be to model some more detail onto the ship, dont worry about texturing it if you can physically model the detail you want on it, like panelling. That saves on texturing work.

Current WIPS: None 'cause I'm a lazy bastard.

if you took parts from other models you have to ask the authors permission first, then credit them on the image, if you haven't asked their permission this thead will probably get closed

I pity the fool!
