There have been several novels based on the charector Jason Bourne. The second movie was set about about a year or so after the first.

The only data I found on the ship from the Ships of the Line book state that it was a Bonaventure class ship and it came in between NX class Enterprise and the NCC 1701.

Nice looking mesh you have there. Myself I am learning lightwave and wonder how hard it would be to do that smooth plating in lightwave? Anyone know of a tutorial?

HI!

Well as far i know, the tools and techniques are quite simillar. It´s all about extruding and bevel polys. The trick is to get the right amounts. Just play with extruding and bevel polys and u´ll get it done. Hey i did it aswell

greetings

Thanks for the reply and suggestion, it is appreciated. Over the weekend I bought Vertibevel. Now I just need to learn how to use it. Nice mesh you have there. after I get the TOS ship done I am going to try my hand at the refit connie.

Warpers are difficult...

Well, i know they shouldnt be that hard to model. But as i told u i´m a hobbiest. I´m not happy with the basic shape, yet. I think i´ll start them all over.

the end part of the nacelle is ok i think. but the rest...
Yes, i had a look at the tut about TMP-Nacelles. I like it. It´s well written. But i want to do it by my own. And i want round edges everywhere!!! So that i can zoom in and zoom in and zoom in...

The biggest problems i have with the front now. the bussard grid doesnt want to look like it should...
and as you might see, the mesh smoothing result is a mesh error. that´s the reason why i don´t like it that much. my "ufo" doesn´t have a mesh smooth modifier on it. i just used it time by time to check if the dots and edges are where they have to be...

well i´m still trying, but i fear i´ll never make it to the TNG erea, because i´ll be dead before i finish my TOS ship.
