Cinema4d Imperial Guard Baneblade Super-Heavy Tank

Howdy all. I thought I'd post a WIP of mine that I started back in March 2006. I have been too busy to work on it since July/August 2006, and what spare time I have had I have devoted to other things. In recent times however my interest has started to be reignited by some projects done by other people, so I thought I'd post the results to date to get some feedback and encourage me to finish it off.

All modelling was done in Cinema 4D.

Ow sweet mate!! Nice baneblade! it's got a good, gritty feelt o it, although the shadows are a bit spotty

Are you planning to do the other super-heavies too? Stormsword, Stormblade etce tc?

Those are just basic stochastic renders for WIP purposes, so ignore the shadows, etc.

I had originally mulled over doing one of the other Baneblade hull variants. Obviously a great deal of the modelling has already been done, the major thing requiring remodelling being the main turret. However, given that this project has been stalled for so long, I'm not sure what I'll do once I get around to finishing it. I suspect I'll move onto something different.

Excellent work and attention to detail. Keep going and get those textures slapped on. Have you got any ideas for a scene?

That be a nice looking tank!

It's the beauty of doing GW models, once you've done one, teh rest of them are only four minutes work
