Well, this is really good. It would be nice if someone made a low poly 3D model of the 304, and maybe and ancient warship and an ori mothership.

In any case, remember that Earth ships are built on land in the first place. They are given landing gear and other things needed to enter a planets atmosphere. The Dadedalus could have been built to land on the ground and if needed in the sea. The large landing bays could have acted as large feet for staying above the water.

Made a new ship. It's not very different from any of my other crap, but I guess it's okay. It's about 86 meters long.

This is only loosely Stargate related, but here goes:
I recently got a new Gi-joe Fighter aircraft from a friend in the US. It's a small jet called the Firebat:

I saw it had potential, and in my mind, it became the MIG-305 "Chimaera".
Designed using a blending of Asgard/Ancient/Tau'ri technology, it will become a new addition to the human arsenal.
My thinking was that the US is spending a lot of money developing and building the DSC-304s, and that they don't really have the resources to develop other designs, so the tech for different projects is handed off to other nations in the IOC(Kind of a spring-board idea for different nations' to develop their own brand of advanced craft).
I have already modified the ship slightly, and made a new vac-formed canopy.
There are many more modifications to come, but for now, here's what i have(We had a beautiful afternoon here in Scotland, so i took some images of it against the blue sky, and then crudely photo-shopped out the pole it was sitting on...):

I can just imagine a squadron of these being deployed on the next Russian 304...
Criticism is welcomed.
Bar.

Yeah, it does. It's pretty much just my Atlantis class cruiser, with the wings replaced with a Daedalus-like canopy, and a more Thor like bridge. >>

Good. Then we're all agreed!
What a great thread. I wonder if we have seen the most amount of different meshes in this thread than any other...
