I made a comparison of my three smallest ships. I think I'm gonna either scrap or redo the gunship. It looks to much like Atlantis and the Theseus.

Barry dont be quiet!! Show your feelings dude, if someone acts like an ass treatem like an ass! By the way, I still have the 302, just working on one project at a time man!
For the record, GI joe has been round longer than most of you boys have been alive, and modeling has been around longer than most of us

I tend not to involve myself in threads like this, but man, that is a sweet looking fighter, Bar. You do some mean work. (Both of them.)

Though the dipped nose on the Russian fighter (the modded GIJOE) will present some problems when it goes to dive. If I remember right, the flat surface will act like the back of a truck heading down a freeway and create a massive amount of turbulance. But then that won't matter in space.

Thanks, guys.
The toy has a similar "hunchbacked" profile at the front to the Fa-37 Talon from the movie Stealth, but as you say, it doesn't really matter in the real world!

I was about to say it reminded me of the Talon, really love that model.

I think this must be the most amount of meshes seen in a single thread, and the highest number of contributers as well I'd have thought

hey ZakeD!
Nice to see that someone is making a fleet of smaller shipies, instead of the ultraheavy carier/battleship/dreadnaughts.
But now that i had a short look on google sketchup i´m wondering why you post your ships with those profile lines?

to Bar: That fighter and those images are awesome!! Point.

Thanks. And I don't think I had the profile edges on in that picture. If I did, it was because I forgot to turn them off.

Okay, so anyway, this is the first image I have made that I actually tried to make look all cool and stuff, so go easy on me.

I know you shouldn't be able to see the shield, and that the shield isn't done very well, but It's the best I could do. I tried to do only parts of the shield, the parts that were being impacted on, but they came out really bad. I still think the shield and energy blasts look pretty cool though.
