And while I am here, I might as well post this too. I was playing around last night while BSG was on, for the second time of the night, and came up with this little thingy. So far, I think everything I've done has been Earth based. So, I played around and made a Goa'uld based ship. It's a lot like a Ha'tak, but waaaay much better (the ship not my design. ). Please forgive it's crude appearance, as I said I was just playing around and my hands had a mind of their own. I know you guys will let me slide. (the old "my hands have a mind of their own" thing always worked with the girls in high school, so why not here?) *falls over on floor laughing*

Well take a look at this idea i'm running with...





The idea is that it's meant to be a troop/cargo ship. I'm still in the early stages of building this but apart from the cockpit area it's roughly what i had in mind.

It's going to have some kind of weaponry, what i'm not too sure about at the moment, and a hyperdrive derived from the Goa'uld Cargo ships. i'm thinking of having it open up at the front to allow loading/unloading but i'm gonna have to see how that works out.

I'm still not able to come up with a name for this thing, i was thinking somehting like 'Pegasus'.... any suggestions?

Quick update to my Goa'uld Mayan themed ship. I thought it is peculiar that there hasn't been any Mayan, Aztec or Incan Goa'uld on Stargate. As far as I can remember there hasn't been. So, when I took a second look at what I had done on friday night, I decided to improve it a bit. And here we go. I'm not sure if I like the name I gave it, Ah'Chuy'tek, so I may change that. But, I may make improvements to this design as time goes on. What do you guys think?

So, is this any better? C&C??

Thank you. Most of the ships in this tread are not canon. And I'm glad that's true. I have nothing against doing canon ships, but I think they've been done to death already, with a few exceptions. Besides, I still have faith that we haven't seen the last of the Goa'uld just quite yet. They are bruised, battered, and surely beaten, but they are not all dead. You never know what they'll do. You just can't keep a bad snake down. I just thought it would be nice to do something different, yet still sort of familiar. Perhaps I'll tackle an Asgard design next.

Where has all the old posters gone to? This thread used to get alot more people posting to it. But it seems that some people have gone M.I.A. the last few weeks or so. Is the thread dead, or just on hiatus because the gates are also missing? I really enjoyed all the models posted by people, it inspired me and gave me new ideas too.

So where is everyone?
