by the way, the fighter bay (the originaly fighter bay, now the inner one) is actually continual from front to rear of the ship. The idea is it allows fighters quick exit and entry to the bay without the need to turn around. These won't have bay doors, instead both ends protected by a force shield which would allow entry and exit of designated fighter craft and eliminate the possibility of forced entry by enemy forces via the bays. I figured the outter bay would be for secondary support craft, say tal'tek/puddle jumper style craft (maybe my next project?)

That looks brilliant. Don't get me wrong: I liked the first version(And this one too).
Maybe something to keep in mind for another variant(If it runs the whole way through, there's no need for a partition in the bay. I didn't know that...).

Anyone to assist?

A lot of great looking SG-style ships here.

If i were to post some plans for a SG-style F-302 carrier that i've done Would there be anyone interested in possibly doing something with it in 3D Max?

I've got the Discs to 3D Max 7 (i think) somewhere here at home but i've not found them since i got this comp fixed. I know that if i shell out the ash to buy it i'll just find the discs when i get back so i'm Hesitant to re-buy the program.

The drawings aren't to any scale so whoever volunteers would need to possibly make slight alterations for scale and what not. I'll post the finfished drawings up some time tomorrow I hope)

Anyone interested?

I certainly won't say no, always up for new challenges. But I want to get the Yakami finished off completely before I take on something new as I've been promising that to Raynor for quite a while now. But I wouldn't mind working on something new at the same time as continuing the Valkyrie.

The funny thing is, when I was first making the Valkyrie (this version, not the crappy original one I did) I did actually put in integrated fighter bays like this, but single ones not twins. And that made it not look right to me. But somehow having the twin bays seems to balance the whole thing out so thanks for that suggestion Bar. I quite like having the partition there and having the bays serve different purposes.

The size comparison with the Ori ship in is certainly the most helpful to me as it contains a tel'tak and an al'kesh together with daedalus and prommie, although I thought the prommie was smaller than the daedalus than it shows on that image?

It's all down to interpretation. I cannot recall where i saw it, but i read somehwere that Prometheus was 285 metres long, and Daedalus was 470 metres long, so i based my own models off of that sizing.
I still like that image of them both, but until we see a canon image from the show which graphically gives us an exact side-by-side shot of them both(Unlikely now, unless we get a flashback sequence), we are none of us going to know for sure.
I'll stick with my own ideas, and not make a fuss about the sizing of other people.
After all, we are only guessing.
